Ecommerce Spending Up 10 Percent – Online Market Alive and Well

With all the uncertainty amongst the global economies around the world it is really interesting to see that e-commerce has once again continued to grow. E-commerce spending for the first quarter is up by 10% compared to last year which in todays times is a very positive sign for companies who are embracing the power of the internet.

There are many companies who are effectively using basic search engine marketing strategies to grow their brick and mortar businesses through the power of ‘LOCAL SEARCH’ ‘ONLINE VIDEO’ and ‘SOCIAL MEDIA’.

Now is the time for all businesses to shift their focus and marketing budgets online through search engine optimisation or pay per click advertising to help generate leads and sales in 2010.
