these stats show what i expected: the most people dont use their desktop computer for surfing or buying on the web. the mobile devices are sometimes faster and easier to use, and the most webshops are already optimized for these smaller mobile devices.

I’m quite suprised that the 34 – 54yr old segment are more comfortable than the 18 – 35yr old segment with buying on a smartphone. I thought the younger generation would have been leading this stat. When I access the web with my mobile device it’s usually when I’m in another town, don’t know my way around and find myself looking for somewhere to eat or drink. I don’t buy any big ticket items with a mobile device, I prefer to do that with my desktop.
